The Xolhemet Society operates a six bedroom facility, offering a free and temporary safe haven for women and their children, who are victims of family violence situations.

Services Include:
Access to our free kitchen and laundry facilities
Use of fully furnished bedrooms and a shared bathroom
Access to our comprehensive resource room

Access to donations of clothing and limited household supplies
Individual and group support through on-site Support Workers
Legal Advocacy and Court Accompaniment
Appropriate referrals for :Social Assistance, Legal Needs, Personal Counseling for Women and their Children, Education Information
Transportation can be arranged for arrival and departure, as well as service-related appointments
Maximum length of stay is 30 days. Extensions may be granted depending on individual cases
