WHEN TO LEAVE
When you fear for your safety and the lives of your children are at risk
If your partner threatens to take your children away
When aspects of your life are being dominated (your partner watches what you do, listens to your phone calls, and checks up on you all the time)
If you feel isolated because your partner tries to keep you away from people, especially your family, friends and neighbors
If your partner misuses drugs or alcohol and has trouble keeping a job.
If your partner blames you for their problems and threatens to harm or kill you if you leave or has threatened to to kill themselves.
Violence and Intimidation are never acceptable. If you and your children are threatened or living in a situation of Physical, Sexual, spiritual or Emotional abuse - you have the right to protect yourself and children and leave.
